Does anyone want to start working on figuring out ways to up our numbers - maybe make a list and divi it up between those who want to help?
I'll have some time to put to it in OCT and NOV.

Lets try and get our numbers up for 2009 - if they fall again - then we can start planning a new league or jump into another one.

Here's an idea! If we all got one friend to join we'd double our numbers :) No wait: I did that (DGM) and he got shafted by the schedule change :(

Hey guys, yep I'm still alive.

Here are my thoughts

We do seem to have gone through this every year that I have been a member and no one is yet to come up with an answer. Time is definitely an issue for me, as the kids get older their sports fall into later time slots that conflict with race start times. The last CTS, (my all time favorite series), race that I ran, I just got bored and haven't picked up my wheel since. I would rather be last out of 30 than last out of 8.

I concur with Tom about Mac users. I have been on an Intel quad-core for about 4 months and while I have passed down my old G5 to my wife I am too lazy to go into her scrapbooking room to use it. While we do get a few new members each year the number lost has always been greater, that won't change. I don't think anyone is willing to shell out money on an old Mac when for the same money the could get a, (yuck), PC and race in many leagues as opposed to 1. I don't have windows installed but I am open to new racing platforms, and would be thrilled to be rid of the 3 second bug for ever.

There are 9ish more races left on the Mac side and we will be done with that chapter in our life. It looks like the winner (speed) is gonna win the server. So this is a dead issue That leaves us with being "just another pc racing league"
